US Navy Veteran who served from 1977 to 1983. Attended Basic and 'A' School at Great Lakes, followed by Naval Nuclear Power School , Orlando and inhull training in Idaho Falls. Knee problems threw a spanner into my training an relocated me to Treasure Island. From there I served in 'A' Division on the USS Midway CV41, awarded the Navy Expeditionary Medal 3 times between 1979 and 1981. My navy career ended on the USS McKee AS41 in the Repair Division and as a Plankowner.
 
After discharge I returned to Kenosha Wisconsin and earned my Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Parkside in 1987 before migrating to Perth, Western Australia. I have worked in numerous roles over a long career, including 7 years FIFO to the Pilbara.
 
I have been involved in  community and sporting organisations, for my children, who are grown, but also for myself. I have played and coached both basketball and gridiron.
