SAFETY

The VFW strives to play a vital role in the impacting on our communities in being responsible and overseeing various Safety Programs.  This includes being involved in Drug Awareness, Home/Internet Safety, and Child ID programs (through related VFW booklets and fingerprinting brochures).  Additionally, members of the safety community can continued to be honored by receiving VFW Recognition Certificates.


VFW Disaster Preparedness and Awareness

If disaster strikes your community, will you, your VFW Post members and their families be prepared? Keep in mind that disasters range from floods, hurricanes and severe storms, to hazardous waste spills and the unthinkable terrorist attack.  September is National Preparedness Month, so take this opportunity to share the following information with your members.
